EcoShack Information
The structures draw inspiration from traditional Australian tent styles, and the quintessential North Stradbroke Island beach shacks, while also integrating the Quandamooka People's cultural considerations in design concept and application.
Importantly, sustainability initiatives, and aesthetics that strongly related to the island's traditional structures have been incorporated into the designs.

Great campsite. Spacious, large sites. Brilliant for the kids, felt very safe. Our boys loved the bike track and the swimming area is great for kids too. Will definitely return.

We recently enjoyed a long weekend at Amity Point. The location in second to none! Absolutely picture perfect. We scored well with the weather gods and lapped up the snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, relaxing with breathtaking views and generally having a great time with the wildlife. A few dolphins came right into the shore where the kids were playing, we saw a koala in the tree and goanna in the park. Needless to say, the kids had a ball!! We’ll definitely be back!! Thank you!

This was the second time my four year old grandson and I have visited Amity and it certainly won't be the last.We had an ideal campsite that was only a stone's throw from the crystal clear water that offered safe swimming. The wild dolphins we encountered were an added bonus and the bay offered a safe practice ground for us as beginning kayakers. The amenities were excellent and everything was spotlessly cleaned on a regular basis. Quandamooka Country is a piece of paradise. Thank you for sharing it.

Always a great camping trip. We camped right on the waters edge and enjoyed fishing, watching dolphins ,stingrays, turtles and koalas from our location, and it was a pleasure to check in with friendly staff. I highly recommend this place as I've been coming here for 35 years.

Our family always go to Amity Point. The people are awesome. We usually camp but this time we booked a cabin and it was wonderful. We go at least 5 times a year but I think our family have been at least 7 times already. Well definitely suggest to all our family.

A piece of heaven. The Minjerribah Camping park at Amity Point is delightful in many ways. Locals wander freely around the park including koalas, goannas, and wallabies. Myriad and fascinating bird life entertains with delightful songs and antics. For the visitor to the park the sites are spacious and the facilities clean and adequate. The afternoon sunsets at the pier are a photographers delight and treat those present to colourful hues from burnt orange to soft pastel blues and pinks. Tents, caravans, camper trailers and cyclists with swags enjoy the open spaces alongside glampers in the enviro cabins. Covered BBQ areas are a great community meeting place. A short ferry ride from Cleveland will bring you to this camping treasure.
