A favourite spot for our family is Flinders Beach. Love the location... feels like we're a thousand miles away!

Billy, Sept 2018

Just had a great weekend on North Stradbroke Island, staying at Flinders Beach. As always it was a fantastic weekend. Campground was in really good condition, clean and tidy. Love that you can camp right next to the beach. Weather conditions were perfect, so calm seas, sunny skies and little wind.

We camped at Flinders recently, having only camped at Adder Rock and Cylinder before. It’s not possible to get in and out without a 4WD, and you need to stay on top of tide times to navigate the beach. We loved it, especially the simplicity and that we could take the dog. Great if you don’t need an amenities block or anything 5 star. Lots and lots of beach to enjoy. Serene, peaceful and fabulous!

Straddie Camping is great to deal with - all really friendly and helpful. Lots of space this year on Flinders to boot!

I have just returned from my 8th trip to Flinders in the last few years and I'll be back again for sure.
