BEACH CONDITION UPDATE

FLINDERS BEACH No Driving 2 hours either side of high tide with a speed limit of 40kph.

Tracks closed from the beach: J (Formerly 2)
Back Track in between A,B (Formerly 11,12) to Area E (Formerly 7,8) : CLOSED.
All Areas Open : ** Note – Area E (Formerly 7 & 8) open but has flooding through the ground.
Amity Point Access: OPEN - Back track from Amity access to C,D (9,10) is now open
Flinders Entrance: OPEN
Adder Rock Access: OPEN but not recommended
FLINDERS BEACH NOTES
- Beware of washouts along the beach especially at the Adder Rock end.
- Water run-off from campgrounds is creating some hazards - stay alert.
- Beware of fallen trees protruding from the sand.
- Do not remove/interfere with campsite bollards - to do so is an offence under the RAM act.
- BINS ARE NO LONGER LOCATED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU.
- Dump points for rubbish are located at Amity Point Access and the Flinders Beach Access.
- SWIMMING not recommended due to weather conditions.

Internal Tracks 11 & 12: CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING
Internal Track between 7 & 8: BLOCKED OFF, NO ACCESS
Tracks Open but not optimal: 8,11,12
Best for Trailers: 5, 7, 9, 10, 15
George Nothling Drive, Point Lookout Access: OPEN
Alfred Martin Way, Dunwich Access (Causeway): OPEN
Jumpinpin is cut off at high tide.
MAIN BEACH NOTES:
- There are many 30cm plus drop offs due to erosion - Drive with Caution
- Do not remove/interfere with campsite bollards - to do so is an offence under the RAM act.
- Only use marked Access Tracks – remember they are 2 way tracks.
- Do not drive over / park your vehicle on dunes or vegetation – these are Restricted Access Areas.
- The keyholes are open & accessible from the beach - dogs are not permitted.
- Do not Camp along the Fire Trail at the back of the camping areas.
- Do not Camp within 5 metres of frontal dunes due to erosion!
- IF BINS ARE FULL PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU.
- SWIMMING not recommended due to weather conditions.
